Location
Sheringham is a wonderfully vibrant town located on the North Norfolk coast. It has one of the best lifeguarded beaches in Norfolk with its European Blue Flag award. There is a long promenade with plenty of beach side cafes and its own Inshore Lifeboat for added safety.

The town is well known for being fun and buzzing all year around with regular local festivals such as Sheringham Carnival in August, The 40s Weekend in September, The Viking Festival in February, The Crab and Lobster Festival in May and The Potty Festival in July. Not forgetting the Christmas and New Year festivities and panto at The Little Theatre.

Sheringham is home to the North Norfolk railway, which is a steam trainline operating between Sheringham and Holt - a real must for both tourists and residents, especially families over Christmas when The Norfolk Lights Express runs.

The town has a wonderful links golf course, a train service which runs to Norwich (perfect for a day trip) as well as being well located for a trips to The Norfolk Broads, visiting Holkham Hall, Blicking Hall, Felbrigg Hall and Sandringham (just a few local places of interest) In addition you can explore the widespread, sandy beaches which North Norfolk is famously known for. If that's not enough, you could venture to meet the seals at Blakeney Point, go crabbing on Cromer Pier, grab lunch in Holt, wade out into the marshes at Morston and Stiffkey and find yourself a secluded beach area for a local Norfolk picnic. There is also go crazy at Sheringham's putting green, climb Beeston bump or Skelding Hill and go bird watching around Cley. There is so much on offer in and around Sheringham, we're sure you'll be itching to re-book once you're back home.
