Small Ramey is located in St Nicholas Place some 200 metres from the promenade, beach & golf course and about 400 metres from the town centre. It is also only 3 minutes walk from Duncan and the rest of our houses in Augusta Street. St Nicholas Place is a wide residential road which is very quiet as it leads to the golf course (pedestrian access only). There are two off-road parking spaces and there is plenty of free, unlimited street parking. Small Ramey boasts an enclosed rear garden which is laid to lawn and has a large new decking area - perfect for al fresco dining. A great house, in a perfect location. Sleeps up to 8 guests.
Sheringham is a wonderfully vibrant town located on the North Norfolk coast. It has one of the best lifeguarded beaches in Norfolk with its European Blue Flag award. There is a long promenade with plenty of beach side cafes and its own Inshore Lifeboat for added safety.
The town is well known for being fun and buzzing all year around with regular local festivals such as Sheringham Carnival in August, The 40s Weekend in September, The Viking Festival in February, The Crab and Lobster Festival in May and The Potty Festival in July. Not forgetting the Christmas and New Year festivities and panto at The Little Theatre.
Sheringham is home to the North Norfolk railway, which is a steam trainline operating between Sheringham and Holt - a real must for both tourists and residents, especially families over Christmas when The Norfolk Lights Express runs.
The town has a wonderful links golf course, a train service which runs to Norwich (perfect for a day trip) as well as being well located for a trips to The Norfolk Broads, visiting Holkham Hall, Blicking Hall, Felbrigg Hall and Sandringham (just a few local places of interest) In addition you can explore the widespread, sandy beaches which North Norfolk is famously known for. If that's not enough, you could venture to meet the seals at Blakeney Point, go crabbing on Cromer Pier, grab lunch in Holt, wade out into the marshes at Morston and Stiffkey and find yourself a secluded beach area for a local Norfolk picnic. There is also go crazy at Sheringham's putting green, climb Beeston bump or Skelding Hill and go bird watching around Cley. There is so much on offer in and around Sheringham, we're sure you'll be itching to re-book once you're back home.
Along with our other 5 properties, Small Ramey has a tourist board 4* grading and Families Welcome award.

“I love how this house can be split to accomodate a small party or a larger group! Such great thought behind this which meant that we could book a house which may have otherwise been too big for us.
There were 4 of us who stayed at Ramey and we all agreed how relaxing the holiday was. We were looked after and the house was spotless. I fully expected to have to do some extra cleaning so brought my antibac along, but it was squeaky clean. Plenty of parking, quiet location and just a few minutes walk to the beach which you can also see from the top floor bedrooms.
We will be booking again! Thank you very much for having us! ”

“We got our holiday in just before lockdown and we were so pleased that we chose Sheringham Cottages. A really warm and caring team - you can tell it's a family business as they really do care, unlike larger firms around the area.
Can't wait to rebook!”

“My family and I love staying at Ramey. Sea views, a great garden, 1 minute to the beach and just a few more to the town centre. There's parking and it's located down a quiet cul de sac near the golf course! We love the walk along the cliff top and watching the boats at the boating pond around the corner. So much fun to be had!”
